Safety / Operations Manager
Safety is our #1 concern at all times.  Travel Lynx has a full time Safety Manager who exams the driver logs and hours as well as the maintenance of our equipment.  Itineraries are requested from the customer 14 days prior to departure so our safety department can look over the planned events and dispatch a driver at that time.

Travel Lynx adheres strictly to the rules and regulations set fourth by the Federal Department of Transportation.  These rules are - drivers CANNOT EXCEED 10(ten) HOURS OF DRIVING without 8 (eight) consecutive hours off-duty or a combination of driving and on-duty (not driving) for more than 15 (fifteen) hours in a day.

Professional Drivers
Travel Lynx drivers are safe, knowledgeable & fully trained professionals as well as courteous & friendly.  All drivers MUST meet Federal Department of Transportation standards.  All drivers are screened for drug and alcohol prior to hiring as well as a background check.  After driver is hired, they are enrolled in a random drug & alcohol-screening program.  The Safety Manager periodically pulls all drivers for driving tests and reviews.

Tour Escorts:
Tour Escorts can make your tour!  All tours offered by Travel Lynx in our tour catalog have a trained, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly & fun escort to add "entertainment" to your travel!  Travel Lynx escorts can be added to any group tour charter for an additional charge.

Travel Lynx Service Center
Located in “Uptown” Shelby, TL Service Center is equipped to service our fleet and other commercial vehicles that are in the Shelby area. With four (4) service bays, a restroom service area, lube shop and vehicle wash area. We can handle most common repairs and overhaul complete systems.

TL Service Center is also an authorized installer for DVD, Wi-Fi and in motion Satellite Systems from Direct TV.

TL Service Center has on staff, a full time technician to service all brands of buses, trucks and light duty vehicles. We can provide; road side assistance, towing and replacement buses to keep your passengers moving!
